Agrana Fruit recently signed an agreement to acquire the remaining shares of the AGRANA Fruit Algeria SPA, still held by its local partners and now owns 100% of the company capital.

The company had initially invested in July 2018 in the company ELAFRUITS, then renamed AGRANA Fruit Algeria. Since then, the company has been managed under AGRANA supervision by an Algerian team and the integration of AGRANA Fruit Algeria in the AGRANA processes and standards has been promptly completed. As being part of the global AGRANA Fruit network the customers in the region have access to the experience of the global network of innovation experts and the sourcing capabilities of a market leader.

Said Johannes Kleppers. AGRANA Fruit CEO: “By this additional investment in AGRANA Fruit Algeria SPA, AGRANA Fruit shows its confidence in the development of the Algerian market, which is still stimulated by new product developments in close cooperation with our customers despite the Corona pandemic.”  For more visit agrana.com
